Museum of art

This 2-story museum features an exposed steel structure of columns, a wrap around balcony, and a perforated metal hip roof, reminiscent of Monterey's vernacular architecture. The entry building, gallery, and art storage create a private internal courtyard displaying a sculpture garden. An underground tunnel light exhibit provides pedestrian connection to the neighboring historical museum. ​
