PELICAN HOUSE

Perched on the rugged cliffs of Big Sur, this project transforms a singular existing structure into a modern glass residence that emerges organically from rock and landscape. The design reinterprets the original form as a light-filled retreat, where architecture and geology interlock. Expansive glazing frames the Pacific Ocean, dissolving boundaries between interior and exterior, and allowing the house to feel grown from the cliff itself - simultaneously grounded, transparent, and in constant dialogue with its dramatic surroundings.
