THE GATEWAY

This conceptual design for a hotel lobby serves as a study of the hybridization of the craftsman style with modernism. The primary roof, framed with heavy timbers, pushes up above and extends beyond the building footprint to create dynamic interior and exterior spaces that play with the natural light. The entry welcomes visitors to a central atrium that allows visual connect to all public spaces within the building.
